Cleaning of multi-component organic dense phases.

Combination of enhanced aquifer remediation techniques using surfactants and chemical oxidation.

Contamination in Bailin landfill subsoil.

More than 100,000 tons of toxic and hazardous residues were dumped without control in two landfills causing a significant impact on the environment.

Remediation of soils with residual DNAPL

Assessment of the field efficiency of oxidation techniques combined with surfactants and analysis of the transferability to other sites.

The SURFING project addresses the environmental problem of lindane contamination existing in Bailín (Sabiñánigo).

It will develop a practicable remediation technique for soils with non-aqueous phase liquids (DNAPL). This technique will be developed in a demonstrative project that will combine the use of chemical oxidation techniques with the action of surfactants.
